2026 HDSB Take Me Outside Day/Week Registration

Important: To help us accurately track participation and communicate directly with participants, registrations must include information for each participating educator. If you are registering multiple educators, please ensure you have their names, email addresses, and participant details available before proceeding. If you do not wish to provide this information on their behalf, please share the registration link and ask each educator to register individually.

Before You Begin

Please select the option that matches the number of educators you are registering, not the number of students.

If you select "1 Educator," you will provide information only for yourself and can include one or more classes of students that you personally teach or lead.

If you select "2–10 Educators," "10+ Educators," or "Entire School/Organization," you will be asked to provide information for each participating educator, including their name, email address, and student information.

For example:

One educator with 60 students across multiple classes = 1 Educator (complete one line for each individual class)
Five educators participating with their own classes = 2–10 Educators or 10+ Educators (complete one line for each educator's individual class and include that educator's information)

Important: If you do not have the information for all participating educators, please ask them to complete their own registration. Collecting individual educator information helps us communicate directly with participants, track participation accurately, administer prize draws, and measure the impact of the campaign.

By participating in Take Me Outside Day, your school can earn points toward its EcoSchools certification while encouraging outdoor learning, environmental stewardship, and student wellbeing. The action card provides a simple way to celebrate outdoor learning and demonstrate your school's commitment to connecting learners with nature.

As part of HDSB's commitment to Every School an EcoSchool, we encourage schools to add the Take Me Outside Day Action Card to their 2026–2027 EcoPlan. Participating in Take Me Outside Day not only supports EcoSchools certification, but also helps HDSB track and celebrate the collective impact of outdoor learning across the board.
