Here are a smattering of Canadian and International resources that can be accessed to support the transition to outdoor learning.  We will build on this list in the coming months.

 

 

  • Children and Nature Network, among other things, curates and summarizes peer-reviewed scientific literature related to children and nature – their site includes summaries to over 1000 articles.

Outdoor Classroom Day is a global campaign to get children outdoors to play and learn at school, and as part of their everyday lives. They have lots of free downable tips, tools and related resources to support and inspire outdoor learning available on their Resources page.

Evergreen School Ground Greening Project. Since 2001, Evergreen has been partnering with school boards across Canada to transform their school grounds into areas of green learning and community activity.
