Join us for this fun, informal day of professional development for educators of all types.

This outdoor professional development adventure will be a space to connect, engage and grow with fellow educators as we share Indigenous perspectives and gifts from the land, learn forest school skills, and use outdoor learning as a tool for teacher wellbeing while creating an open space for you to network and develop outdoor learning practice.

Your registration includes:
  • Expert facilitators to guide the day
  • An amazing chance to (re)connect with educators
  • Delicious healthy food for lunch on site
  • Optional group adventure on Sunday to hike, bike or paddle!

Shape of the Day:

9-9.30 – Welcome and Indigenous Acknowledgment. Indigenous led Circle
9.30-10 – Icebreaker/Warm Up/Outdoor Learning Game ideas
10.15 – 10.30 –  Snack/Tea/Coffee Break and Chit Chat
10.30 – 12.00 – Forest School Intro Workshop
12.00 – 1.00 – Lunch provided by the delicious local food truck the Wandering Root
1.00 – 2.15 – ‘Open Space’ session. A full group, interactive learning and sharing workshop
2.15-2.30 – Short fun game
2.30 – 3 – Indigenous led closing circle and gratitude
