Showcasing our amazing Student Video Contest winners!

Thank you to everyone who entered the 2022 Student Video Contest! This year’s entries really showcased the diversity of the country’s people and landscapes, and we are thrilled to be able to share these works with our audience. There are so many ways to spend time outside, and these short films will certainly inspire you to go explore your own backyard!

A huge congrats to students from Campus Regina Public in Regina, Saskatchewan for being the Grand Prize winners of the Take Me Outside Student Video Contest, in partnership with MEC and the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival! Their film askiy kikiskinwahamakonaw The Land Teaches Us is phenomenal, and will be highlighted as part of the internationally acclaimed festival this year!

Campus Regina Public, we raise our hands in acknowledgement of this master piece and are thrilled to celebrate you as our grand prize winner! Your film captures your schools commitment to cross curricular learning and truly celebrates the land and the relationships your students have with the land.
