Summer is in full swing! We wanted to share a few resources from our outdoor learning partners to ensure you have the most enjoyable, safe, and fun season you can while spending time outside. Whether you’re camping, at the beach, in the park or your backyard – or anywhere else you enjoy! – we hope you’re soaking up the season and all it has to offer us.

The Child & Nature Alliance of Canada has great resources for beating the heat – check out their interactive resource “Thrive Outside” for more! Click on each photo below to view it more clearly.

Need to cool down while still having fun? Here are 15 ways to do just that, from Active for Life, who have a vast archive of activity ideas to browse through if you’re feeling less than inspired.

We know heading outside can improve your mood, boost immunity, and reduce stress, among other amazing benefits. With that in mind, do you want to start camping with your family but you’re not sure where to begin? OutGrown (formally Hike It Baby) has this beginner’s guide available in both English (below), and Spanish. Have you found any other resources or activities you’ve been loving for the season so far? Let us know in the comments!
