Outdoor Pride Events to Check Out
- Pride Outside: Connecting the LGBTQ+ Community around the outdoors.
- Pride Paddle Vancouver: Jericho Beach Kayak is hosting two Pride Paddles this year! One at the end of June to celebrate Pride Month (in memory of the Stonewall Uprisings) and one in early August for Vancouver Pride Week!
- When: Tuesday, June 17, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. (during Pride Month); Thursday, July 31, 7 p.m.-9 p.m. (Vancouver Pride Week).
- Cost: Sliding scale of $30-$60
- Where: Jericho Beach, BC.
- To book a spot: Register in advance.
- Mountain Pride Revelstoke:
- When: Mountain Academy (Saturday, June 28); Queer Village (Sunday, June 29)
- Cost: $50 for day-long lessons; subsidies available
- Where: In the town of Revelstoke, as well as Mount Revelstoke National Park, BC
- To book a spot: Visit Open Mountains.
- Out n’ Aboot: A Pride Hike: Join Mountain Equipment Company and Hike Nova Scotia as we go “Out n’ Aboot” for a celebratory Pride Hike on Sunday, July 20 in Halifax. Registration is required. Here are the details:
- Trail: Hemlock Ravine Park, Halifax
- Time: 10:30 am to 1 pm
