Her passion for conservation and community engagement has shaped her career, where she has focused on supporting environmental non-profits and community initiatives through administration, communications, and design. She volunteers with organizations working to remove barriers to outdoor adventure sports and strives to empower others to take an active role in protecting the places they love. Outside of work, Michaela can be found mountain biking, rock climbing, or trail running with her dog Lou.
