Michael Nadler is a retired federal public service executive and not-for-profit sector leader.  His government career includes senior roles with Indigenous and Northern Affairs and Parks Canada, advancing Indigenous self-determination, leading treaty negotiations in the Atlantic Provinces, Quebec, and the Northwest Territories, and leading efforts to establish two of Canada’s largest Indigenous protected and conserved areas at Tallurutiup Imanga in Nunavut and Thaidene Nene in the Northwest Territories. Following his retirement from the federal government, Michael served as the CEO of Ducks Unlimited Canada for 3 years, during which he led a series of transformations in business processes, fundraising and revenue development, Indigenous partnerships, and corporate governance. Now retired, Michael and his spouse split their time among their home in Ottawa, a recreational property on Lake Winnipeg, and playing in the Selkirk and Monashee Mountains of British Columbia.
