
Karine is a K to 12 teacher, an outdoor educator, a Forest and Nature School practitioner and an author. With 28 years of teaching experience, Karine has worked as a classroom teacher, teacher librarian, curriculum consultant, and university instructor. She spent a decade on school leadership teams focused on outdoor learning, inquiry-based learning, technology and mathematics. Her passion for well-being, inclusion, and land-based education is reflected in her work and further deepened by her certification as a yoga and meditation teacher. Her work is grounded in a deep respect for Indigenous knowledge and a commitment to creating meaningful outdoor learning experiences for all learners.
