Degju is originally from Kathmandu and emigrated from Nepal in 1994. He attended the Alberta School of Business at the University of Alberta and brings 20 years of diverse experience in finance and operations. He presently operates a consulting firm in the Bow Valley providing fractional operational and financial expertise, along with broader business and non-profit consulting services. He has experience as financial controller and CFO for non-profit organizations, volunteered extensively with numerous non-profits and boards, and currently serves as Treasurer of CORE International. Degju’s love for the mountains and outdoors started at an early age in Nepal and his passion for outdoor activities have grown even further living in Canmore, surrounded by the magnificent and inspiring Canadian Rockies. He currently spends his free time in Canmore enjoying the mountain life hiking, mountain biking, and skiing.
