Workshop Information

Workshops are all in person, and are 75 minutes long.

We have found hands-on interactive workshops or breakout/discussion sessions work best for participants to connect with. Which of these two would your presentation fit best into?*

This is a conference focused on outdoor learning. Is your educational workshop designed to be given outside, in any weather?*

The majority of workshops accepted will be those given ONLY outside. It is possible for a very small number to be hybrid (indoors/outdoors). If needed, please add your interest AND reasoning in using an indoor presenting space in the ‘special equipment’ question below.

Does your presentation require any special equipment or considerations?*

This may apply to either outdoors or proposed indoors sessions. You will be responsible for the transporting and setting up the equipment as needed (if outdoors, maximum 5 minute walk from Banff Centre permitted). Please also share if you would like to request a flat open space e.g for running games, a forested area or have accessibility needs for your workshop location.

If you need special equipment, what is it (eg. screens, speakers)? Are you providing it yourself? Or what accessibility needs do you need met to be successful?
