À propos du Défi hivernal d’apprentissage en plein air

Cette initiative annuelle encourage les éducateurs.trices à sortir dehors avec leurs élèves afin de profiter de la beauté de l’hiver. Du 2 au 13 février, sortez à l’extérieur aussi souvent que possible!

Pendant ce défi de deux semaines, des ressources, des prix et des ateliers virtuels seront offerts pour soutenir votre apprentissage en plein air. La programmation proposera des liens amusants et engageants avec les Jeux olympiques d’hiver de 2026, ainsi qu’une exploration inspirante des façons dont les animaux en hiver restent actifs durant les mois plus froids.

Participez et sortez dehors
C’est l’étape la plus importante ! Ensemble, passez le plus de temps possible à l’extérieur entre le 2 et le 13 février, que ce soit une seule fois ou à tous les jours. Si vous cherchez des idées, consultez la section des ressources ci-dessous. Bientôt disponible : un outil ludique pour suivre vos progrès !

N’oubliez pas de partager vos moments d’apprentissage en plein air en utilisant notre formulaire de soumission de photos, où vous pourrez téléverser des récits et des photos de votre temps passé dehors tout au long du défi.

Partagez avec les autres sur les réseaux sociaux avec le hashtag #TMOWinterChallenge !  Des prix seront tirés chaque jour pendant toute la durée du défi. Arctic Winter Games

The Arctic Winter Games are a biennial multi-sport and cultural event hosted by contingents in the Arctic region, specifically focusing on circumpolar communities from areas like Canada, Alaska, Kalaallit Nunaat, and Northern Scandinavia. More than just a sporting competition, the Arctic Winter Games inspires athletes, artists, and communities to come together to celebrate the Circumpolar North.

Carnaval de Quebec

A population often faced with harsh winters decided to put on a snow festival to warm their hearts. The tradition of celebrating from the end of January until mid-February has been around for a long time! In Quebec City, the world’s snow capital, the first major winter carnival made its debut in 1894.
