Biography for Naia Lee

Speaker Biography:

Naia is an organizer, facilitator, and undergraduate student at McMaster University. She began organizing against cuts to BC education in 2014, and has since been involved in work for housing, gender, and climate justice. From 2021-2024, Naia was part of the organizational design team for Common Horizon / Horizon commun (CHC), a national group of young workers organizing for real climate solutions. They currently sit on the CHC board. Naia is passionate about building organizing communities that are welcoming, anti-carceral, joyful, and strategic.
