Biography for Indigo Kim

Speaker Biography:

Indigo Kim is a 3rd year Arts & Science student at McMaster University. Her journey with climate action has changed over the years but has always centered her local community. In high school, she organized school walkouts and community events attended by hundreds of people to advocate for climate action at a municipal level. She has delegated multiple times to her hometown’s city council in Guelph, Ontario, and also sat for two years on the board of directors for Our Energy Guelph—a since-dissolved local not-for-profit. She loves music, storytelling, rock climbing, nature, and has a passion for teaching and education in its myriad forms—especially outdoor learning!
