Outdoor play is any activity you and your family participate in while not in school or at work. Examples could include riding your bike, camping, hiking, running, going on a nature walk or anything you like to do OUTDOORS!

Outdoor Learning is time spent outside during school hours. Including the outdoors in lesson plans and projects is an effective solution to increasing student focus, building positive social connections, decreasing bullying, improving academic performance and contributing to comprehensive school health.

Ask your child’s teacher to take their class outside as part of a lesson.
